livestream
Rhiannon Giddens’ Carolina Breakdown, Rhiannon’s main set from Biscuits and Banjos, will stream live from the Durham Performing Arts Center on April 26 at 6pm ET.
The show celebrates the deep roots and enduring legacy of Black string band music with a multi-act line up highlighting the intergenerational passing down of tradition, including the much-anticipated reunion of trailblazing group the Carolina Chocolate Drops for their first performance together in more than a decade.
Featuring: Rhiannon Giddens & The Old-Time Revue, Carolina Chocolate Drops (with Rhiannon Giddens, Dom Flemons, Justin Robinson, Leylaayle McCalla, Hubby Jenkins, Sule Greg Wilson, and Rowan Corbett), Niwel Trumbu, New Dangerfield, and Demeanor.

DPAC Seats
Rhiannon Giddens will appear in a number of performances throughout the weekend, culminating in her Carolina Breakdown revue show Saturday afternoon at DPAC. All festival attendees (whether weekend or single day) will have seated access to this special headline concert. You will be prompted to select your specific seat for this one concert at DPAC as part of the ticketing process. At Rhiannon Giddens’ request there are no VIP passes for the festival, nor tiered ticket pricing. As such, priority seating at DPAC will go to those who buy early!
FESTIVAL FOOTPRINT
Biscuits & Banjos takes place in a number of indoor and outdoor venues in Downtown Durham ranging in capacity from 200 to 2,500. Due to the multi-venue nature of the festival, admission to festival events (apart from the ticketed Saturday DPAC headline concert) is on a first come first serve basis. Please prepare to arrive early for concerts you surely do not want to miss!
